The Suffocation with the hint of Air

In the quiet hours of the night, when the world is asleep, our deepest emotions often rise to the surface. This poem reflects the silent battle of a weary soul — one that carries the weight of pain, sleeplessness, and suffocating thoughts. Yet, amid the darkness, there's a promise of hope, a spark of resilience, and the quiet strength to begin again.

This is a journey from breaking down to slowly rising back up — a reminder that even the heaviest nights can lead to healing dawns.

Absolute darkness hiding a broken soul

Seems like sleep has forgotten to play its role

Eyes pretty red, pleading to get some rest

While this heaviness is making shelter in my chest

Hands are trembling while the vitality has crumbled

Mind seems numb while the suffocation has already been rambled...

Oh dear soul, no one heard you rambling about the pain

No one saw you tearing yourself apart again

Wiping the ooze of tears

Decided to get my thoughts clear

In the darkness of night, a promise was made

A new beginning and a chance to remake

But the shadows still whisper doubts in my ear

Will dawn ever come or will night persevere

The world outside will sit and watch you tear

A reflection of the heart, weighed down with fear

The night's silence, a heavy burden bears

The weight of fears, the ache of unmet prayers..

Yet still I hold on to the promise made

Holding myself together to let this hope create

For in the night's darkness, a glimmer I see

A chance to rise, a chance to break free

For the teared soul is asking to be mend

A chance to the mind who is ready to defend
